"2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships" Sets Filming Date + Confirms eSports As New Event

The “2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships” (hereafter “2019 ISAC”) is coming soon!

On July 24, a source from MBC confirmed, “Filming for the Chuseok special of ‘2019 ISAC’ will be held on August 12 at Goyang Gymnasium,” and added, “eSports will be added as a sporting event for this Chuseok special.”

The biannual program greets fans during Chuseok and Lunar New Year. During the Lunar New Year episode earlier this year, the program was filmed in Incheon’s Samsan World Gymnasium, but this time, it will return to Goyang Gymnasium.

The upcoming “2019 ISAC” is set to air over the Chuseok holiday in September.
