S.I.S To Promote As 4-Member Group After J-Sun Leaves Agency + Dal Goes On Hiatus

XX Entertainment has announced that S.I.S will be promoting as a 4-member group in the future.

On July 13, the agency officially stated, “S.I.S will begin promotions as a 4-member group consisting of Minzy, Gaeul, Anne, and Sebin, without J-Sun or Dal.”

XX Entertainment revealed that J-Sun had chosen not to renew her contract with the agency, explaining, “[S.I.S] member J-Sun’s exclusive contract with our agency has expired. For the time being, she will be focusing on her studies, without any solo promotions.”

The agency went on, “We have decided that the new S.I.S consisting of Minzy, Gaeul, Anne, and Sebin has limitless potential and is capable enough, so they will soon officially start their promotions as a 4-member group. We have not yet come to a decision about the possibility of adding new members to the group.”

J-Sun remarked, “I am infinitely grateful to the agency for their support in many different areas during my time as a S.I.S member, to the point where if I were to promote [as a singer] again, I would want to work with XX Entertainment again no matter what. However, after plenty of discussion with the agency, I ultimately decided to focus more on my studies.”

She added, “I will always be cheering on the members who will be promoting as a 4-member group.”

According to XX Entertainment, Dal will be going on a temporary hiatus for personal reasons unrelated to J-Sun’s departure from the agency.
