It has been 4 months since the launch of “BTS World” and the hype is still on-going with brand new updates that keep fans’ heart-thumping with exhilaration.
To appease players’ and fans’ curiosity, the process and making of the scenes in “BTS World” were uploaded on their official Youtube channel. Through the video, the dedication and effort put into producing quality content for “BTS World” can be visibly seen. Every staff member and BTS members worked hard to produced this wonderful game.
Behind-the-scenes stories were uploaded from time to time in different parts. The clips showed each members’ interviews, and as of now, a total of 16 videos have been uploaded on the channel. Fans are pleased to get consistent updates and contents from BTS World!
Chapter 7 story update, the special summer event “Boy of Summer”, and theme event member card were added to the game on August 8th, 2019.
“BTS World” set up different themes that kept updated with events around the world. This creates an excitement among players and further proves that every update and events were planned meticulously.
The Netmarble’s Shinchon branch and online store opened on July 26th. To celebrate their opening, a limited edition package of BTS World OST album was released for pre-order.
“BTS World” started the sale of their MD collection on August 29th, 2019. In the 1st MD collection, items like smartphone griptok, acrylic keyring and strap keyring were on sale, including the limited edition BTS World OST album package.
Birthday benefits are given out during BTS members’ birth dates. On Jungkook and RM’s birthdays, players received gifts like free gems and draw tickets just by logging in.
A retweet event was held on twitter as well. An extra 20 free gems were to be sent to players when the number of retweets reach a number that matches the member’s birth date.
In lieu of Chuseok, an update was made where players have to collect songpyeon (Korean rice cake) and new 4-5 stars cards are up for collecting too.
Despite the good reviews, there are also several complaints and feedback from players.
The “BTS World” team has been closely monitoring and reviewing the feedback provided on the Netmarble forums, where players post their suggestions, report bugs & errors, and other feedback.
With the suggestions and feedback provided by players, the “BTS World” team have been working hard to provide improvements and changes to the game.
Players are satisfied to have their voices heard with the improvements and quick adjustments.
“BTS World” was nominated as the Mobile Game of the Year for the Golden Joystick Award 2019. The votes are currently on-going and results will be announced during the award ceremony held on November 15th. Meanwhile, fans are submitting their votes and have high hopes.
It seems like players and fans have been enjoying the soundtrack from “BTS World”. “A Brand New Day” surpassed 30 million streams!
Bighit has also made an official Grammy submission under the “Best Compilation Soundtrack” category for the “BTS World” OST. Now fans are eagerly waiting for it to be nominated for 2020 Grammy awards.
Chapter 8, the latest story update, with a new main quest and new styling items, was released on September 27th, 2019. Avid players are working their way to complete the mission and open up to this new chapter of fun.
“BTS World” approaches its 100th-day anniversary and announced its full lineup of events. From October 3rd to October 10th, 2019, players will get a week of Check-In event rewards, daily member affinity gifts, increased rates for new 4-star cards, and participate in a bonus time event for the 100th-day celebration.
These few months have been a joy to fans and avid players. While the interactive game with new events and updates have been keeping players busy, it also keeps them thinking about how the game will further improve as time passes. It is exciting awaiting for the unpredictable joy ahead!
